The essentials.
What does the OG Life Score measure?
It brings together the evaluated conditions of your home: air, light, thermal and acoustic comfort, energy, functionality and maintenance. Your report explains the evidence and limitations. A score requires sufficient information.
What do I receive when my home is certified?
You receive a digital certificate with the score and level achieved, an evaluation report, recommendations and a physical badge for your home. The sticker or plaque format, delivery and evaluation scope are agreed in your proposal. A badge is issued when the home meets the criteria for the relevant level.
What do the 70+, 85+ and 95+ levels mean?
These are the proposed OG Life levels: Certified from 70 to 84, Excellent from 85 to 94 and Exceptional from 95 to 100. The methodology and certification conditions are in development and will be defined before you book. If a home does not reach a certification level, it still receives its report and recommendations for improvement.
Is this an official certificate?
OG Life is developing a private quality of life standard for living spaces. It is not currently an official certification or an internationally recognised standard. It complements property documentation; it does not replace an energy certificate, a building inspection or an occupancy certificate. It is not a medical assessment or a guarantee of health.
How and where does the evaluation take place?
The service starts in Barcelona and the surrounding area. We first agree the scope, total price and payment. We then review documents, visit and take measurements according to the agreed service. For other locations or specialist testing, we prepare an individual proposal.
Does the certificate last forever?
The certificate and badge identify the evaluation carried out and its conditions. Renovations, changes to systems or the passage of time may require a review. Validity and update conditions are set out in your proposal.
